Kensington Playfield Center Sprint will offer a short course (approx.5K), a middle course (approx. 3.2K), and a combined/map exchange (approx. 5.7K).
Short Course: will take you through open park areas.
Middle and Combined: will add in wooded areas.
Start anytime between 5:00 and 7:00; the course closes (flag pickup begins) at 8:00 pm.
Youth O-Challenge
As part of the event, we are excited to expand our reach to youth and youth organizations through the Youth O-Challenge. It will include:
SMOC swag for Youth O-Challenge Participants
Open to any age (1-20 years), on any of the courses: Short, Middle, or Combined
Orienteering Games and Activities:
For the Youngest Orienteers: String Course, Animal O, and Toddler Scramble
For the Older Orienteers: Cone Grid-O and Maze-O
**Lessons available. Please come early and learn about the sport of orienteering and map reading.
