Peach Mountain Score O (aka the Mini May Rogaine)

Peach Mountain at Stinchfield Woods U of M Research Property - Dexter, MI.
30 Control Points total (24 Regular + 6 Bonus) ~12km straight line distance. ~13.5km optimal w/ ~2.7% climb.
All Control Points are optional - Score O format weighted value CPs. (Control 31 = 30 pts, Control 41 = 40pts, etc)
There will be 2 Mother Controls, that will reveal the 6 Bonus Child Controls for a fun twist. (The Mother Controls will have a separate map with a marker attached to notate the Child Controls on your map. You may want to bring your own sharpie or highlighter to carry with you)
CPs will be a mixture of easy (yellow), medium (orange), & difficult (green/red), plan attire accordingly.
There will 2 water stations on the course, but carrying small hydration is encouraged.
Map provided will be 1:10000 scale with 5m contours on 1 page 8.5" x 14" size
Top Finishers Prize for each division is a $25 REI Gift Card!

Start: 12:00pm (Mass start. Late arrivals will be allowed to start up until 12:30pm)
Finish: 3:00pm - Penalties will kick in if you are late!
Results: 3:15pm - Winners announced - Prizes / Snacks

Please park in the Dexter Animal Clinic Parking lot (9500 N. Territorial, Dexter, MI), which is on the left of the access road just before the end of the road near the gate where the start/finish will be located. There's enough room here for a ~couple dozen cars. Alternatively, once this fills up, overflow parking will be across the street at Healthy Smiles / Kids Land Parking lot on the south side of North Territorial Rd, just west of Dexter-Pinckney Rd (Approximately 8.5 miles west of US 23)
If you park in the Healthy Smiles / Kids Land lot, please bring money with you to the starting line, which will be across the street on the north side of North Territorial approximately 300m from the start/finish, just follow the signs. PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL crossing the road as it is very busy, especially if you are bringing small children.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK ALONG THE ACCESS ROAD OR BLOCK ANY OF THE PRIVATE RESIDENCE DRIVEWAYS!
There will be a porta potty, but no public bathroom (closest would be at Hudson Mills - pay for entry or back in Dexter)
Open to the public, can run as a team or individual. $10 for non members. $5 for members. (Per map)
A limited amount of compasses are available for rent for $1.
