Highland Recreation Area main entrance
Haven Hill was formerly an estate belonging to the Ford family, but now provides (among more conventional hiking and equestrian activites) fine orienteering. Pockets of challenging woods are separated by strong trail network, enabling intermediate orienteers the chance to test their skills without the penalty of some larger "no man's lands" of Pontiac Lake or Bishop lake.
